Deviant Art did something wonky to the preview image and I can't fix it, sorry. The tutorial still works though.

You need Adobe Photoshop and Adobe ImageReady to use this tutorial.
This is an animation tutorial, in case you didn't know. In this tutorial I show you how to make character's eyes blink.
I'm not going to lie to you, this file is pretty big. It might take 3 or 4 minutes to load if you have dial up.
I saved it as a .gif file so the file size would be a tad smaller.
It is a large file because I take you step by step.You don't even need much knowledge in Photoshop at all to be able to do this tutorial. I show you how to do everything from opening a new image to animating your image in Adobe Image Ready. There are plenty of pics along the way too, just in case you get confused.

I hope I did this tutorial according to the Deviant Art rules. If I broke any please just let me know and I'll fix it. I tried to download °jark's faq on uploading tutorials but it didn't work.

Now for a couple of little things...
If you recreate the image that I have done, that is perfectly fine. I know sometimes it's better to copy something else, it makes learning a new thing easier.
You can even post it on Deviant Art if you like, just be sure to credit me.
You don't have to credit me if you use the tutorial, only if you copy the image.
Also if you copy the image please do not put it in your journal or use it as an icon, etc.

If you guys like this tutorial I will make a few more. I will teach ya how to make characters walk, run, laugh, wag their tail, etc.
